ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMBERSHIP
All licensed, reputable, and ethical physicians in good standing with the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners, who resides or practices in Madison County, Alabama, are eligible for membership in the Madison County Medical Society (MCMS).
Eligible applicants must:

Hold a valid Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree

Be actively engaged in, or retired from, the lawful practice of medicine or osteopathy in Madison County
Per the bylaws of both MCMS and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama (MASA), membership in the Society requires concurrent membership in both organizations.
